The State Border Service of Ukraine for several months has been testing a simplified admission system in Ukraine for our compatriots at the airport “Borispol”.
This technology has proven itself, having ensured more comfortable environment for passengers and received positive feedback from citizens and airport management, the State Border Service reported.
Today, guards spread this experience to other international air checkpoints, namely: Kyiv (Zhulyany), Kharkiv, Lviv and Odessa airports.
“It is not only to save time for each individual passenger, but contribute to avoiding queues before the passport control line,” the department said.
The system greatly simplifies the process of border control passing and allows you to go through clearance within 3-5 seconds.
The result was achieved thanks to the information received in advance. The information is processed during the flight, so during the border crossing guards only verify the photo in the passport with the bearer’s face.
