Scuola Italiana Design (SID, Italy) will become a partner of the Kharkiv State Academy of Design and Arts (KSADA), as the press service of the academy reported.
Representatives of the association “Italian House” found the Italian partner for the Kharkiv university as a result of the agreement reached at the business forum “Ukraine-Italy. New opportunities for all”. Then KSADA held a presentation of the Italian school.
According to the Academy, the educational philosophy of SID focuses primarily on the practice. Therefore, students and graduates often work with companies De’Longhi, Ferrero and Arpiliad. In an effort to expand communication, SID organizes “branches” in other countries. Negotiations are underway to organize SID courses for designers and architects as well as the course of Italian language on the basis of KSADA.
“It will be a unique opportunity to get a European qualification in Kharkiv,” noted in the high school.
According to the academy SID, founded in 1991, was the author of the concept of “Creative Design” which refers to the simultaneous development of industrial products and products that accompanies them, ranging from packaging to web design. SID teaches both students and already established professional designers and architects who want to improve their skills, and issues a certificate after completing the course which is recognized internationally.
