January 26, a meeting of the permanent commission on housing and utilities, landscaping and engineering infrastructure of the city took place in the City Council. It was decided to allocate 7.1 million UAH from the budget to support Kharkiv housing construction cooperatives and associations of owners of apartment buildings. The press service of the City Council reported this.
According to the Department of Housing, about 4 million UAH will be directed for repairing works, 1.5 million UAH for repairing of intra-roads around Kharkiv housing, housing construction cooperatives and associations of owners of apartment buildings. In addition, 500 thousand UAH will be allocated for cutting down dead dry trees, 400 thousand UAH – for purchasing of benches and urns, 196 thousand UAH – for purchasing and installation of playgrounds, 203 thousand UAH – for sports fields, almost 100 thousand UAH will be spent on carrying out legal advice on the creation of public condominiums.
For now there are only about 360 associations of condominiums and more than 500 housing cooperatives in the city of Kharkiv.
