The project of a non-profit analytical center CEDOS that aimed to collect the complaints of students and professors, was launched in Kiev on November 17, 2015. Now the project is working in all regions of Ukraine, and Kharkiv became the first city which was attended by representatives of organization.
According to the organizers of the project, the most frequently violate the rights of students and professors in the economic sphere. They also receive a lot of complaints on incomplete or limited access to information for universities. As stated the organizers of the presentation, they are now preparing several legal actions at the request of university professors.
“The creation of our website was determined by violations of the students’ and professors’ rights, by the need to inform them about their rights and responsibilities. We are going to spread reliable information and draw public attention to this problem,” said Yegor Stadniy, executive director and project coordinator of Profrights.org.
Profrights.org – the website on which teachers and students can not only complain about the violation but also get expert legal advice on various issues related to the daily life of the university.
