December 12, on the eve of a children’s holiday the St. Nicholas Day, the publishing house “Vivat” will hold the traditional book fair “Knizhkovy Mikolaychik” in the Kharkiv National Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre N.Lysenko (KNAOBT).
The purpose of the fair is to attract attention to book reading and to arouse interest in children of young age.
For guests of the event the organizers have prepared a grand sale of children’s books. You can buy children’s books that have become bestsellers for about 10-30 UAH. In addition, drawings, contests and free creative workshops for children will be held.
The organizer of the fair, publisher Sergei Polituchy, believes that holding such events is a matter of national importance: “I hope that step by step we will be able to show the magic of books and prove the usefulness of reading at least through the fairs.”
The campaign will be held under the slogan “Time of good books and good deeds!”. The organizers plan to build the library for children who are suffer from cerebral palsy and other diseases with lesions of the nervous system. You can bring and present the books, and volunteers will ensure the delivery to children in need. Everyone will get his book discount coupon for 20 UAH for the purchase of new books.
