Kharkiv scientists received the State Prizes

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko signed an order awarding the State Prize of Ukraine in the amount of 100 thousand UAH in the field of science and technology in 2014.

In particular, the Prizes were awarded to: a professor of National Technical University “Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute” (KPI), Gregory Gren’, and a department chairman of the KPI, Alexei Loboyko, for their work “Structure and evolution of the Universe at the galactic and cosmological scales, dark matter and dark energy: theoretical models and observational results”.

As well as the Prizes were received by the head of the department of Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics, Igor Nevludov, and a professor of the University, Victor Palagin, for their set of textbooks on electronic technology in three books (“Basics of electronic devices,” “Cross-connection technology of electronics” and “Introduction to microsystems technology and nanotechnology”).
