According to the Cabinet of Ministers decree №988 “About security officers of the National Police pay” salaries are increased by an average of 2-3 times, and the salaries for special titles in 12-18 times.
The lowest payments for the National Police employees will be from 2700 to 8000 UAH depending on a post.
Interior Minister of Ukraine Arsen Avakov said that these salaries will be paid only to those who will pass the certification. Meaning that, until a successful re-certification of all police officers, legally they are performing duties with the old militia salary.
Note that earlier, Interior Minister Arsen Avakov said that the salary of the head of the National Police Khatia Dekanoidze will be 98,000 UAH, deputy – an average of 70,000 UAH, heads of departments and regional offices – an average of 30,000 UAH. Beginner and the most junior rank police officer who does not have seniority – will be paid 6.163 UAH from the start,” said the Interior Minister.
