On November 20th, meeting of the “Club of employers” (for would-be entrepreneurs) and a seminar on topical issues of labor took place in our city. Specialists of the Department of Social Welfare, the Employment Service and the Union of Entrepreneurs of the Kharkiv region participated in the event. Deputy Director of the Department of Social Protection of Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Tatiana Pechura stated that the labor market situation is stable at the moment.
Kharkiv employment center specialists reported that in the first half of this year the employment rate was 58.7%. Such percentage places the region in the top 3 in Ukraine.
Also, the unemployment rate of the population decreased from 7.3% in the first six months of 2014 to 7.1% for the same period this year. The region is ranked 5th nationwide by this indicator.
During the event, Head of the department responsible for organization of providing services to employers of the Kharkiv regional employment center, Inna Prokhorenko informed participants of the meeting about the changes in the active legislation for employers, including the innovations in the law acts.
