Verkhovna Rada is considering a new bill №3444 amending the Customs Code of Ukraine. According to the new document, a tourist will be able to carry into the country goods worth 430 EUR (air and maritime transport) and 300 EUR (at the border crossing points). Currently the limits are 1000 and 500 EUR respectively.

Also, according to experts, the duty on perfumes delivered by international post services will be introduced soon. In addition, travelers will lose their right to import energy-efficient appliances and equipment for alternative energy.
