The app Yandex.Navigator began warning Ukrainian drivers speeding, informs the press service of the site.
“The application is aware of the speed limits not only on different roads, but also in different parts of the same road and warns about excess with a beep,” the report says.
In addition, the speed limit in the area is now displayed on the screen.
The default warning signal is heard when the speed exceeds by 15 km/h, so the driver is able to brake in time. The speed threshold can be changed in the settings of the Navigator.
At the moment, the new feature launched only in Kyiv region. In other cities of Ukraine it’s working in a test mode.
