“Oleksiivska” metro station also has Wi-Fi now

“From today, passengers of the Kharkiv Metro can take advantage of Wi-Fi at the station “Oleksiivska”, informs the official website of “Kharkiv Metro” on the social network VKontakte.

The proposal to organize a free Wi-Fi in the subway won with the highest number of votes in the project “Active Kharkiven” last April.

Recall, Wi-Fi network started working on another station of Kharkiv Metro – at stations “Pivdennyi Vokzal” and “Arkhitektora Beketova”“Kholodna Hora” and on the central bus station of Kharkiv (Haharina Prospect, 22). Wi-Fi also appeared at the station “Botanichnyi Sad” and “23 Serpnya”. In addition, the wireless network is working at the station “Maidan Konstitutsii”, “Istoruchni Muzei”, “Universytet”, “Derzhprom” and “Naukova”.

In addition, Kharkiv received the first money for consulting works on the construction of Oleksiivska thread of underground.

“The first funds have already been received for consulting work and they are controlled by the European Investment Bank (EIB). This money Japan in the amount of 500 thousand euros.”
