Today two protests will be held in Kharkiv

Today, on February 13th, two protests will be held in Kharkiv. Both actions will take place near the monument to Taras Shevchenko, according to the depo.ua.

At 15:00 in front of the monument soldiers of 92nd mechanized brigade and volunteers will protest against actions of the prosecutor’s office of ATO forces. According to the organizers of the event, yesterday, on February 12th, the military prosecutor’s office in violation of procedural norms arrested a demobilized soldier of the 92nd Brigade with the call sign “Snake” (Alexander Svidro) and filed charges against him in the shooting of a mobile group of a volunteer Andrew.

At the same time, at 15:00, near the monument to Taras Shevchenko a meeting will be held by Samopomich community that today holds congress in Kharkiv. The politicians are going to discuss resignation of the government (in particular, Arseniy Yatsenyuk‘s resignation), political repressions in the country, removal of corrupt officials. The event will be attended by party leader Andrew Orchard, the deputy speaker of the Verkhovna Rada Oksana Syroyid, and other Ukrainian MPs. The community invites Kharkiv residents for a frank conversation.
