Yesterday, February 8, the court hearing of Kharkiv mayor\u00a0Gennady Kernes’<\/strong> case again took place in the Kiev District Court of Poltava.<\/p>\n
About ten activists of the Congress of Ukrainian Nationalists were near the court building. They brought posters and pasted the\u00a0courthouse using\u00a0them.<\/p>\n
Five new witnesses were called for the hearing. They were\u00a0not named at the previous meeting, so\u00a0they have not appeared in the media.<\/p>\n
Safety specialist of the personal property in the hotel “National” Yuriy Gurin<\/strong>\u00a0explained that the\u00a0cameras, installed in the hotel,\u00a0work\u00a0in online mode, so there are no\u00a0any saved records. That evening he was at the hotel because of the banquet.<\/p>\n
Hotel waitress Tatiana<\/strong> also gave evidence. She said that in the evening she served Gennady Kernes\u00a0during the\u00a0banquet held in the hotel restaurant.<\/p>\n
The court also questioned the State Guard\u00a0Dmitry Starostenko<\/strong>, who claimed\u00a0that no conflict happened that day.<\/p>\n
Witnesses confirmed that about nine in the evening the mayor went to bathe in Sarzhin Yar.<\/p>\n
Judge Antonov<\/strong>\u00a0set the next\u00a0hearing on the case of Gennady Kernes in the Kiev District Court of Poltava on 22 February.<\/p>\n
