On September 4th, at the International Economic Forum The Ambassador of the United States in Ukraine, Geoffrey Pyatt<\/a><\/strong> got acquainted with the process of the preparation of Kharkiv patrol police in the Kharkiv National University of Internal Affairs<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The ambassador noted that today Kharkiv demonstrates progress in the implementation of European reforms, the establishment of democracy, and the rule of law.<\/p>\n

<\/a>“The way the process of\u00a0establishment of the new patrol police is progressing now is inspiring. Creating new police is more important to Kharkiv than for other regions. Indeed, the city now holds\u00a0the largest number of refugees in Ukraine. In addition, it is only 20 minutes to the border with Russia. And I am very glad that you have such a wonderful young enthusiasts, who have a future in their own hands and are determined to build Ukraine.”<\/p>\n

The ambassador said that the United States has made significant investments in the patrol police in Ukraine.
