Privatization of PJSC Turboatom is not relevant today, said the President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko during his visit to the plant, the press service (UA) of the enterprise reported.

“Kharkiv is a priority for me, and Turboatom is a priority as well, it is the flagship of the engineering power of Ukraine. This is an example of how you can work in very difficult conditions.

“Against all the odds you are working efficiently and transparently, you are increasing production volumes, you are invincible,” the Ukraine leader stated.

According to Poroshenko, the company is a worthy combination of quality and competitiveness. And if today energy industry needs new energy turbines, then the economy will grow.

The president visited Turboatom together with US Ambassador to Ukraine Geoffrey Pyatt.

Ukraine is actively working on new orders for Ukrainian enterprises. Representatives of the American companies Westinghouse Electric Company and Holtec International have reached important agreements with Turboatom.

“These agreements mean new jobs, budget revenues, growth of the gross domestic product,” Poroshenko added.
