The Wi-Fi network has begun working at another station of Kharkiv Metro – “Sportyvna”.

This was reported on the official page Vkontakte of the Metropolitan, in which it was stated that it is the 14th subway station where there is wireless internet.

In addition, Kharkiv citizens have proposed to rename the metro station “Radyans’koyi Armii/Soviet Army”. A petition appeared (in Russian) on the website of the City Council.

“I propose to rename a metro station “Radyans’koyi Armii” and name it in honor of Eugene Petrovich Kushnarev,a  prominent politician and statesman, a man who has done a lot for the city and the region, including for the Kharkiv Metro.”, wrote the author of the petition, Taras Vakula.

At the moment, the petition has gained 20 signatures. There are still 89 days to collect 5,000 votes.
